The avicularia versicolor
Martinique Bird Spider
When
these are spiderlings they are known to be the most beautiful spider in
the world.
They are a beautiful metallic turquoise blue with fine black markings.
The blue gradully fades, and with continuing molts they become a larger
darker spider. Once they become an adult, the legs become dark with lavender
highlights and the abdomen coverd with red hairs.
