Phoneutria Fera
The 'Brazillian Wandering' Spider

The Brazilian Wandering spider is a large hunting spider that produces one of the most toxic of spider venoms. If disturbed it raises it's front legs to expose it's threatening jaws. It has the largest venom glands of any other spider, up to 10mm long which holds enough venom to kill 225 mice. Several people have died from this spider bite.
