The 'Brazillian Wandering' Spider
The Brazilian Wandering spider is a large hunting spider that produces
one of the most toxic of spider venoms. If disturbed it raises it's front
legs to expose it's threatening jaws. It has the largest venom glands
of any other spider, up to 10mm long which holds enough venom to kill
225 mice. Several people have died from this spider bite.
