Dec 2004 Stain's latest offering is a Christmas special, released on 1st December and called 'Something For Christmas'. The e.p. features 5 classic Christmas songs, reworked in Stain's inimitable style and recorded pretty much live one Saturday morning a few weeks back in Splintered Sound Studios. We feel that this recording has captured the raw spirit of Stain, and is a must have alternative to the usual slushy Christmas records...  Click here to go straight to the catalogue page...

July 2003 The site is gradually growing, but 'these things take time', as they say. If you keep checking, the band pages will gradually be populated, and those technical guys at the studio will put some stuff on the 'studio gear' page. We're also planning more mp3 downloads, but the day-to-day stuff takes over our lives and stubborn 'Stain' remain the only music you can download.

We receive many demo's, and although we can't afford to sign too many acts, we still welcome them, particularly from bands based around the east anglian peninsular. At best, we could record and release material, at worst, we should send you a critique... we try to respond in some way to every demo sent.

Please e-mail john@splinteredrecords.co.uk if you need any information you can't find on the site.
