The joe swail junior academy received a massive boost last week when their N.I. u21 champion won the prestigious PONTINS OPEN at Prestatyn in  north Wales
Sean o Neill who is also the current senior champion recorded the highest break a 136 during the home internationals and a 115 in the final of the OPEN where he defeated former world u 21 champion Rodney Goggins from Wexford 5 frames to 1 in a brilliant final.

The junior academy, which has 20 events this season, from u12 to u 21 begins on Saturday 6th october in the MIDDLE POCKET club Lurgan with an u 16 ranking event.
All players should report by 9:30 so that they can fill in the neccessary forms to join the academy, with a  £10 fee, have their photos taken, and hear how 110 sport.com in conjunction with JOE SWAIL and the NIB+SA junior committee will give all juniors the chance to forward themselves in the game.
All players are reminded to be in proper dress : white shirt, black trousers, black shoes, waistcoat, bow tie and have their £5 tournament fee.
