Miles Wrigley, A.B., Curate of Holy Trinity Church, Dobcross, &c. His first wife, ....., died 16 June 1780 aged 23 years; she was born 3 October 1756. At Saddleworth Church, on 18 May 1784, he married Jane, daughter of John Littlewood, clothier, & Mary, his wife, Hunter-Hill, Saddleworth, who was baptised at the same church, 6 Sep 1753. She was a cripple, and had to use a crutch. After the death of her husband she kept the Pack Horse Inn, Delph, to the time of her death, which occurred , 21 July 1830, aged 76 years 10 months. He died 11 June 1787, aged 38 years and 10 months, and was buried near or in the chancel of the church. His only child, Ann, married Benjamin Cowper, of Moorside.
