Check out Niall McKenzie trying to outrun John

Yes that really is Niall McKenzie at Mallory on practice day

We thought we would just have a track session with a top rider so we followed for 15 laps whilst he went round giving tuition to a rider on a rs 125 it was the only way we were going to keep up. He didn’t even know we were there!

FIRST TEST SESSION ENDS IN DISASTER!

After a long winter lay off we were both looking forward to a good first test session to blow those winter cobwebs away, how wrong could we be. After another traditional Mallory Park breakfast we took to the track. The sun was out, the track was dry, John had his dynojet fitted and Steve had his new refurbished undertray. Two laps into the first session, John was following Steve into the hairpin when disaster strikes. Steve hits the deck after loosing grip around the notorious hairpin John piles on top of Steve’s damaged Skorpion and in a split second Steve’s test session is over. Steve’s under tray lasted a whole two minutes and he injures his shoulder and leg along with his pride. Johns Skorpion once again survives another spill and carries on to complete a good days testing with best times yet of 1.07, 1.07, 1.08, 1.08

DON’T WORRY THIS WON’T KEEP THE SKORPION KINGS DOWN!

WHEN STEVE IS IN A1 CONDITION WE WILL BE BACK ON THE TRACK PERSUING OUR BID FOR VICTORY!

Race day at Mallory Park, Sunday the 24th.September 2006, and after an early heavy storm the day turned out to be quite beautiful and good racing was experienced.

The start of the second race of the day that S.O.F.A. Racing members were taking part.
The team are somewhere in the middle of the pack.

Here they come, it looks like John (162) has had a better start than Steve (173), how it turned out at the end of the race I do not know.
