The start of the holiday proved to provide plenty of entertainment, after ariving 12 hours late for the ferry (thanks to steve's lack of understanding of the 24 hour clock) we then had to put up with the smelly colli dog that entered our luxurios mode of transport to search for illegal substances. Thanks to the border cop's, why they chose us to search we still have no idea, maybe we looked a little suspect. After searching for a campsite for two hours, we decided to stay at this lovely carpark, this set the standard for the rest of the holiday (six days six different carparks)
Is this some kind of illegal substance or is it just the powdered milk that steve dropped in a blind panic .
After watching kung foo films for a complete week in the back of the camper, it was decided that we should attempt to make our own movies using mobile technology this proved to be very succesfull and the films will be available for viewing shortly. By the way thats toilet paper around our heads.
After drinking quite heavily one night we went of to explore the local area where we found an old disused farmhouse with outbulidings, after lots of exploring with plenty of scares steve said we have sold our soles to the devil. I thought we had sold them to whiskey and vodka. Another fun evening.
Whilst on our road trip we did also notice that there was some very nice Irish scenery.
There are really some large traffic jams in Ireland this one had at least five vehicles in it and took 5 minutes to get through, so if you do go to southern Ireland beware.
After a complete week together the only way out was to throw ourselfs onto the beach. But we were soon to be rescued by a search and rescue helicopter that hovered above and filled the camper with sand. (Thanks Guys) Is that another bottle of whiskey in Steve's hand.
