ALPHA male delta blues Released March 2007
This Cd primararily set its tone in the pre-war days (thats WWII to you youngsters) with classic southern blues songs like Keep Your Lamped Trimmed & Burning & Robert Johnsons, Travelling Riverside Blues. There is however a contemporary twist to it with an Hokum Ode to George Bush Jnr and Tony Blair as well as Hold Your Head Up High, which has strong anti-war sentiments regarding the Iraqui situation. How Do Live With Yourself bites directly at the penial system and in particular the death penalty, but it aint all grim as Slim dances on the beat with his Jitterbug Blues and performs a ressurection with I Got Lazy In my Head all on his Dobro and acoustic guitar with not a electric six string in sight. 1. travelling riverside blues 2. i got lazy in my head 3. slim's jitterbug blues 4. you can't get that stuff no more 5. keep your lamp trimmed and burning 6. how do you live with yourself? 7. george bush jnr blues 8. hold your head up high 9. goodnight irene 10. come on in my kitchen 11. country shack (revisited)

Dust Bowl Soup Released November 2004
Not to be content with one musical release in 2004, Slim produced a second C.D. this is altogether a quite different beast, a soundtrack like paean of instrumentals that hark to the Americana backdrop to films like, Paris Texas & Brother, Where Art Thou? All instruments including Accordion, Piano and percussion are played by Slim. A huge dollop of the guitar playing is provided by a Dobro to give that authentic country blues twang. All the tracks bar St. James Infirmary are bona-fide originals including a tribute to John Fahey as well as a hollering Preacher proclaiming a prophecy for the Dust Bowl Land. This is an ideal accompaniment to your very own road trip through The States....drive on!! Tracks. 1. Slingback play track 2. Ode To Blind Joe Death 3. Twins 4. Sugar Ray 5. Rag 'n' Drones No.1 6. Sees Slim stretching out his repertoire and includes eight self-penned stompers. The album features the impressive honking harmonica of Mr. Ted 'THE HOOCH' Tedman as well as the dulcet tones of The Montpelier Gospel Choir. It flies from a Muddy Waters type slide frenzy to a downhome on the porch jamboree mixed with some New Orleans piano courtesy of Slim's ivory tickling. Slim also makes good use of his primitive STOMP BOARD to provide a thumpin' accompaniment as well as adding percussion to the flavour. There are songs 'bout a one-legged man who likes to get down on the dance floor to a modern Hokum toon 'bout life on the Ol'KIng Creole?
