Janet is both Welsh and Australian, living between the two countries. Her work is described as triquetral with influences from the ancient Welsh-Brythonic tradition, and Aboriginal and Christian spiritualities.

The vibrant colours of Queensland with its strong tropical light and the mystique of Aboriginal past and present have all influenced her artistic development.
