ElfBolt Art
The inspiration for Elfbolt Art can be traced deep into the psychology of the Artist whose formative years were experienced in the idyllic village of Bedlinog in the Taff Bargoed Valley. The Artist still draws inspiration from the mountains, woods, and streams of the South Wales Valleys, and in particular from the light and colour of the area, mostly presented in abstract form, the work presently is experimental. Other influences go back into the far distant past well before the Artist's childhood, and well before the industrialisation of South Wales into the realms of our celtic past, with the merging of reality, mystery and magic linked to the celtic life-circle. The work may occasionally reflect contemporary comment with regard to the 21st Century experience like many Centuries before of war, pestilence, and famine. The Artist is conscious of the human dilemma in all its forms and we shall see how the work develops on this site.
