Welcome to The Skew Bridge. We're a traditional pub on the edge of Harpenden Common. We offer a warm, friendly atmosphere, with a welcoming fire in winter and a beautiful garden in summer. We have two bars, a public bar with a juke box and pool table and a saloon bar, where we operate a 'no music' policy. This bar is for those who would prefer a meal or drink in a quieter, more relaxed environment. We have an extensive menu at very reasonable prices. We cater for many tastes, with pasta dishes, curries, traditional pub food and steaks. There is also a children's menu available and high chairs are provided on request. We also offer a good selection of cask ales, wines and international lagers. Our garden is secure and has a children's Wendy House, complete with toys, books and a TV showing cartoons. On Sunday lunchtime we offer a home cooked roast dinner available in three sizes. We advise bookings, especially during the weekend, as this can be quite a busy time.
