This is the ATV news sheet
(replica of front page) listing the meanings of the various aspects and characters in The
Prisoner, also covering the logging of angry phone calls from the public after The
Prisoner finished, with several paragraphs describing the event and the closing of the
series together with the ‘message’ which the cult series delivered. This was the
newspaper of ATV Network and the viewing figures for The Prisoner are included - a unique
souvenir contemporary with the time that the cult series bowed out on ITV after its
original debut screening.
