Publications and Broadcasts
Helên self-published her first collection of poetry, 'Hopelessness And Other Hobbies' in October 2001. She is also a member of Warrington's community press, Pyramid Press, which will be publishing the Hot Wire Anthology in Spring / Summer 2002. The anthology includes two of Helên's poems, 'Plate Tectonics' and 'I'd like to be an egg - that's a hen's egg'.

Helên's poems, 'That's how bees see', 'Plate Tectonics' and 'Incompatible' are due to be published by New York's Rattapallax Press as part of SHORT FUSE: The Global Anthology of New Fusion Poetry. This collection features poets from all over the world and will appear in both printed and electronic form. Helên's poems have been broadcast on local radio station 'The Source' in the Warrington area.

Competitons
In addition to winning numerous poetry slams, Helên has won other prizes for her songs and poetry.

In 1985 Helên entered 'She' magazine's National Poetry competition and won a runner's up prize for her 'Ode To Bad Poetry'.
