About Garforth Volleyball Club

In conjunction with Leeds Volleyball Club, The Garforth Junior Volleyball project was started in 2009 by Graham Camm and is based out of Garforth Community College. The project has had a boost with the award of a £900 grant from Yorkshire Evening Post / Leeds Community Foundation grant. The award is part of the Grassroots Grants scheme, a Government initiative, to help small but vital projects get off the ground, and to reward the sometimes unsung heroes of our community.

The sessions are primarily aimed at under 18 male and female players and is designed at introducing young people to volleyball in a friendly and fun atmosphere.

No experience is required!

So if you are under 18 and would like to try a truly global sport and maybe even make the Olympic team in 2012 then come along.
