First off, I would like to point out that I am in no way related to the Simon Holt off TV...I am, in fact, a poor software engineer with far too little spare time.
Now that's cleared up, here's what you probably came here in search of. The (in)famous "Settler for Windows", a nifty little program I wrote when I used to work in a bookies. I don't really maintain it much these days, but I am partial to the odd little change here and there.
This is 1.4.2. It has a couple of minor changes - best of all, the tax rate now defaults to 0%. Only taken me 5 years to get round to doing that one. All good.
Then there's 1.4.3. This one has the addition of the "Perm patent" bet, which I assume almost nobody cares about. The reason I've left 1.4.2 up there is because I messed up a lot of the resource files while I was adding this bet, and I haven't tested it even remotely. This is just "compile and upload". So don't be surprised if it doesn't work! (If it doesn't, please tell me!)
This program is completely free. However, it comes with absolutely no warranty that it will do the right thing.

I've kept the tricks to a minimum on this website, so it should work with pretty much every web browser in the world! I've tested it with IE 6, Firefox and Opera. If you have any trouble with a different browser, please let me know.
