Bendy dash syndrome
As a lot of people with mk2 1993/1994 800 series will tell you the adhesive used in the dash assembly is not
very good, and after a few years it comes away and starts to lift - particularly over the instruments. The solution
can be very simple, 'No More Nails(TM)' and enough elephant tape to hold it in place while the glue cures. I removed
my instruments to replace the S4 bulb and took the chance to do this job at the same time, took my about half and hour
to strip and prepare it, then ten minutes to glue and stick it all. Currently it looks like this -

His fix worked too, six months after I did this the front was peeling away slightly and I swapped the dash for a good one
from an 820 that a friend was breaking. That was easier then glueing it again !
