About the band
Nottingham based five piece band TANGATA play mostly original tunes with a
couple of traditional reels and songs thrown in for good measure.
The music ranges in style from rich jazz injected Celtic melodies, to the odd
vocal harmony, through to Baltic frenzy and hefty funk to get people on their feet!
Influences include: Sin é, Vasen, Flook, Bellowhead, Chic, Ian Dury, Michael McGoldrich, Katherine Tickell, Pat Metheny ...............
