The metal menace is claimed by the harsh winds of time vortex and is flung off into the great unknown depths of time and space and planets and matter between the here and now of all eternity thereafter... knowing his luck he'll probably wind up in Loch Ness.

Back inside the ship, Dr Who's friends crowd round his mortally wounded body. But something odd is happening, and his face begins to shimmer...
