Q: Okay, what's all this about a new Doctor Who adventure?
A: Ah... well perhaps I'd better explain about "Dr Who and the Time Quest of Fear" first!
Q: Jumping Gobstoppers! What's that?
A: Well, "Time Quest of Fear" is a Doctor Who photo-story that we produced earlier this year. The idea came on the tail of several years worth of collecting and painting Harlequin's rather wonderful (but now sadly curtailed) range of Doctor Who miniatures.
Q: I see! So you decided to make your own story!
A: Indeed we did. It was all done in a bit of a hurry, and is, to say the least, a rather unusual and lively take on Doctor Who. But some people liked it.
Q: So can I buy and paint everything in TQOF?
A: No! All the sets and props were made specially using a variety of materials. And, in fact, even the figures aren't widely available any more, since Harlequin no longer exist as a company.
Q: It sounds great. Where can I see it?
A: "Time Quest of Fear" has now been published on this very website, and you see see the story here.
Q: So what's this about a brand new adventure? Is it the sequel to TQOF?
A: Yes and No. It's going to be created along the same principles (except a lot more time and detail has gone into it) but not using Harlequin Figures.
Q: So will there be a sequel proper to TQOF? I noticed you only used Doctors 1 and 2 in the story. Is this because you only collected figures of characters that appeared before 1970?
A: No, not at all! I have a wide range of figures from later eras (there is a sneaky picture of a Zygon in the TQOF Behind the Scenes section of this website!). And yes, there remains the possibility of a Harlequin sequel, probably set in London and featuring Doctors 7 and 8. But it won't be for a very long time yet.
Q: So the new adventure then... What's it called?
A: We're not saying yet! We'd prefer it to be a surprise.
Q: Okay... which Doctor is in it?
A: We're not telling you that either. In fact most details about the new adventure are being kept closely under wraps. But keep a close eye on the News Page as big announcements will be made soon!
Q: What can you tell me about the new adventure?
A: It'll be running on this very web site, and on the "Planet Skaro" forum from the end of November... probably the 23rd, Doctor Who's anniversary day. It'll be five episodes long and it'll blow you away!
Q: Phew! Well that just about fills me in. One more question - who are you?
A: Oh that's a boring question, you probably know who we are if you're reading this. The only thing you need to know really is that there's just the two of us and we're having great fun preparing a wonderful new Doctor Who adventure! Hooray!
Q: One last question. Why has the word "frequently" been misspelt at the title of this page, and why didn't I notice?
A: Because it's easy to overlook detail. We've applied a keen eye to it in our new story, and in order to maximise the effect of this, viewing the story from this web site will give you access to special, larger versions of lots of the frames. You'll be able to zoom in and pick out all the little set detail we've worked so hard to incorporate!
Remember, attention to detail is paramount. It's the little things that make the difference!
