EXCLUSIVE: MEET DOCTOR WHO'S NEW COMPANION...
JEFF TRACY IS BRIGADIER LETHBRIDGE STEWART!

It's a quiet night down Pentalion Drive, a leafy suburb somewhere in the south of England. Brigadier Big Al Stewart is enjoying a hearty Horlicks and a hot sausage. Then there is a knock at the door and his life is turned upside down, inside out, round and round as once again he is dragged into the strange world of Doctor Who!
It's almost Time for Doctor Who, and almost time to reacquaint ourselves with the trusty General who helped Doctor Who and Keela once a series on so many exciting Saturday evening adventures.
It can only be a brand new adventure from HaRpi Productions. But why is the ex-Thunderbirds icon and former "Playmate of the Year" Jeff Tracy donning the mantle of Doctor Who's famous military manbeast?
"I was working in rep down in Bristol at the Old Knicks Theatre on Washed Up Lane playing MacFlange with Dame Lesley Joseph and Sir Ken Morley," Tracy told us when we caught up with him. "My agent came up to me and said 'Jeff darling, darling, I have the most wonderful part for you to play!' So naturally I said yes as it was paid work and I never refuse paid working darling."
We then asked Jeff about the absence both of the legendary Nicholas Courtney-Cox and the Brig's trademark 'tache.
"Well it was always a dreadful nuisance on TV wasn't it?" Jeff told us. "There were times when it went missing at the pub, refused to perform and basically got up the noses of all the viewers. As for my moustache, well without giving too much away I can say that if viewers tune into the final episode they may well see it making an appearance. In actual fact we borrowed one from Sophie Aldred."
How has working on Doctor Who compared to working on that other much loved telefantasy and pretty rubbish kids programme Thunderbirds? "I'd say they were both very similar yet very different. This new Doctor Who adventure is certainly worth tuning in for. Make sure you're there on November 23rd as it'll be more fun than a night in with a whopper sausage."
Er... thanks Jeff. And to all of you at home, make sure you check back in exactly three weeks time to see Jeff in action!
