The creature gives chase! Doctor Who rushes back to the control room like a pair of dividers in motion. Here he finds Ace, who is mourning her lost love and her lost looks.
"Look out Ace!" cries Who as energy bolts sizzle like sausages around his feet.
"Don't you sometimes wish your heart was made of stone." reflects Dotrice to herself.



"Goodbye lemons." she whispers as Alex breathes his last and kicks the bucket. But the creature's hot and spicy breath draws ever nearer as she weeps.
The Doctor opens the balcony door...just what is his plan? I wonder. Oh I wonder.



The Creature shoots it's load at Doctor Who but, enraged at the loss of her love and career, Ace Ventura dives in the way and cops the full force of the blast. 
"There's a certain satisfaction in a little bit of pain." she whimpers.



Back in the TARDIS, all is prepared. Excellent!
"Ground Control to Major Tom! Start moving the probe down" cries Bernie Matthews. "Standing by Doctor!"
"Switch on Liz!" orders the Brig. Doctor Who's little helpers activate the Volotrons by remote control and the power surges through the air to where Doctor Who needs it.
"Twenty seconds, mistress!" informs K9.



Outside Hawkspur's HQ, the Volotrons whir and click, click and whir into life. A twirl of energy whips up at their centre and, slowly but surely, rises up to envelope the building in a vast inrush of the time vortex!
