Sally Hands is an artist and printmaker based in Swansea, Wales.
She was educated in Edinburgh and studied drawing and
painting at Edinburgh Art College 1972-77. She is a former director of the Swansea Print Workshop
and produces prints, drawings, rag rugs and papier mâché. As well as teaching piano,
she teaches spinning, knitting, tapestry, papermaking, and printmaking with and
without a press. Sally works as a part time teacher for a Community Care Project and for
the Swansea Print Workshop. She received a Welsh Arts Council Grant in 1997, and a
Millennium Award
