Sally Hands is an artist and printmaker based in Swansea, Wales. She was educated in Edinburgh and studied drawing and painting at Edinburgh Art College 1972-77. She is a member of the Glasgow Print Studio and produces prints, drawings, papier-mache and knitwear. She teaches spinning, weaving, tapestry, papermaking and printmaking with and without a press. The press is available for use by the public at the studio at 20, The Strand, Swansea. Sally works as a part time teacher for a Community Care Project and for Arts Care. She received a Welsh Arts Council Grant in 1997, and a Millennium Award in 1998. Click here for a CV.
