Sally Hands is an artist and printmaker based in Swansea, Wales. She was educated in Edinburgh and studied drawing and painting at Edinburgh Art College 1972-77. She is a member of the Glasgow Print Studio and produces prints, drawings and papier-mache. She teaches spinning, weaving, tapestry, papermaking and printmaking with and without a press. Sally works as a part time teacher for a Community Care Project and for the Swansea Print Studio. She received a Welsh Arts Council Grant in 1997, and a Millennium Award in 1998. All the pictures are woodcuts printed in my studio. I make small editions of between 4 and 20 prints.
