The best of our photographs taken during a two day visit to Lake Coniston. The six of us spent the night aboard our Sailfish 18 tied to a jetty. Our four children slept down in the cabin and we adults snoozed happily under the cockpit tent. We left the gas lamp on low until about 3am -- hung from the boom -- which helped settle the children and provide a little warmth. On the lake in the lee of the Old Man of Coniston, the scenery was truely breath-taking at around sunset and sunrise.
