Fuerteventura 2003

Jo and Me decided we wanted a nice relaxing break away from England's winter so we made a booking to the holiday in the Resort of Neuvo Horizonte in Fuerteventura.

Our hotel was called The Oasis Tropical and this was the pool that it had. We never went any further into it than paddling with our feet as it was 'TOO' cold.

Everyday we walked to the next resort (Caleta De Fuste) which was about 1 ¹/₂ miles away and this was the easiest way to walk there along a worn down track surrounded by Laver Rock which you can see on the right hand side of the picture.

About half way along the track we made some little friends. Chipmunks lived in and around the rocks and if you tapped monkey nuts on the rocks they would come running towards you and take them out of your hands.

This is the Beach in Caleta De Fuste where we spent most days lazing about in the sun just taking it easy.
