Spam Precautions

Sorry for the trouble.

Like most people who have an e-mail address which is publicly-available on the Internet, I have been having big problems recently with the amount of unsolicited e-mail ('spam') which I have been receiving. I have therefore scrambled my e-mail address in the source code of this web page using JavaScript, which I hope will prevent it from being read automatically by 'harvesting' programs whose sole job in life is to gather e-mail addresses from web pages for the purpose of sending spam.

Any browser which handles JavaScript should automatically descramble the e-mail address and present it properly without you having to do anything further at all. The entire process should be completely transparent, so much so that you should not even notice anything different at all. If, however, you do not have JavaScript enabled on your browser then this process will not have been carried out and you will therefore not be able to see the e-mail address properly or at all. If you enable JavaScript, all should work fine. Alternatively, if all else fails give me a call by telephone at the work numbers given: if you are not trying to send me spam, it will be a pleasure to speak with you!

My thanks go to The SpamCon Foundation and EScrambler for the idea for scrambling the e-mail address and how to accomplish this using JavaScript.
