I am a post-doc researcher in the field of HCI, currently based with the Socio-Digital Systems group at Microsoft Research in Cambridge. See my up-to-date webpage at Microsoft for information on my most recent activities. This website details the work that I published during my PhD at the University of York and while working as a lecturer at UCLIC. My PhD explored how the affordances of technologies affect the social interaction of collocated groups, an interest that I built open further while at UCLIC. Since working at Microsoft, I have studied the use of various communication appliances by families and focused on designing technology to fit the needs and values of older adults. For further details of employment history, take a look at my LinkedIn profile. |
