There are many clans for mech 3. Some have their sites listed on my links page. Look at their site. If it looks interesting and you think you like what they are doing or saying you can petition for membership. Some clans just ask you to play a few games to see if you’d fit into their clan. Others have a Trial Of Entry (TOE) where you have to go against one or more of the clans players and achieve certain scores. KuR have a TOE system. You must get a score of 5 or more before the recruiter gets 10 kills. It is a C5 game at Ice Port or City. Not many pass this test – that’s why Phix became the training unit so those who failed can improve with Phix till they are able to take the TOE again. Make sure you pick the right clan to join… see what their reputation is like on the zone because you will have that reputation too if you join. Keep your options open. Some clans only allow you to join them. Others don’t mind you joining multiple clans/teams. All clans are different. Most respected clans have a CoC or Code of Conduct that explain the rules and expectations of their clan. Read this before joining - there may be something you don’t like in it. BIG WARNING – some clans are known to hack… or attempt to. Make sure you watch the clan members closely.. I’ll be adding a section on hacking in the near future. I haven’t now because I don’t know anything about it as KuR or Phix have nothing to do with hacking (we don’t need to). I’m going to have to be careful when I search for information in case I get labeled a hacker - believe me its that easy.. so be careful yourself! Like I said before Clan wars do happen. If you have made friends on-line make sure you know what side they are on (if any) so you don’t go into anything blind and regret later. I have put down as many problems that happen in Mech3 life as I know. Some have happened to me - others to friends. I hope you don’t make the mistakes we have so your gaming experience is the best it can be.
