Saffie and Tia's kittens

The Burmese Cat has been described as love in a fur coat, in my opinion this is true. They are very good at getting what they want with the least amount of effort and you won't even realize that you are being manipulated.

If you really want a Burmese cat, get ready to stick down those ornaments, because whereas most cats will walk along your window sill and step around those ornaments, don't expect this from a Burm. They take great delight in giving things a little nudge, just to help them accidentally fall, they will then turn, and look at you with those big expressive eyes as if to say, " well how did that happen it certainly wasn't me".

Burmese also have to be involved with everything that goes on in the house. When Tim is doing any work around the house he gets lots of help whether he wants it or not. The inquisitive nature of the Burmese can get them into trouble. All our Burmese are indoor cats, but Chamois our 16 year old was an outdoor cat, one day she got into Tim's car as he was coming in and out loading his tools, he then got into his car to drive to work, it wasn't until he'd nearly reached his destination that she coolly walked between the two front seats and curled up in the passenger seat. The job he was doing was so far away that she spent a lovely day with a very besotted couple who phoned me and asked if I really wanted her back. Suffice to say she still lives here with us.

Burmese love company, be it human, feline or canine, So if you are out at work all day it wouldn't be fair to keep him or her on their own.

Two Burms are twice the fun!!!!
