Where variety really is the spice of life!

This is the only affix in the UK to have won major awards in all four accepted Basenji colours; red, black, tricolour and brindle. In 2007 I celebrated my Basenji Silver Jubilee; now at 27 years and counting!

The Shernazar Basenjis began in 1982 here on the South Coast of England,  with my first Basenji, Fatty.  The last of her granddaughters left us in September 2003.  Lucy Borzoi arrived in 1992, while until 1998 a Greyhound was always part of the household.
In 1994, my very special Ruby, one of the first brindle Basenjis to be shown in the UK and the first born brindle Champion, came on to the scene (pictured left as a pup, with my late, lovely Flora). My American black and white boy, Bryn, arrived in October 2003, and is a Champion himself and sire of Champions.
