What is 'Stellar Pioneers'?

Stellar Pioneers is a massively multiplayer, web-based resource management and trading game, currently being developed with a view to initial release in late 2005, although the game will continue to expand and deepen indefinitely.

The action takes place on a distant Earth-type world on which a new space trading empire is emerging. The Company is giving you the opportunity to claim a territory and become part of this great venture.

The game is played within a standard web browser, with no download required, so you can log in from any internet-enabled computer.

We're delighted to welcome a new artist to the team. Julian's created some great icons and we're looking forward to seeing a range of new robots.

We're also finally getting close to seeing a playable version of the basic game. Mining and manufacturing of bulk commodities are working, goods may be bought and sold, and the repair and maintenance of robots is almost in place. There's still work to be done on the geology model and the planet generator - Al and Archie are on the case.
