Imported gedcom file states Mary was baptised in 1766, however it is more likely that she was born about 1777. If the baptism date is correct this would have made her 104years old at the time of her death. Mary Hopkinson was present at her death.
In 1851 she was widowed and living with her son Samuel Slingsby, farmer of 15acres.
Another possible baptism date is 4-1-1778 Cantley, Yorkshire

Mary was widowed at the age of 43 and did not remarry. In 1881 she was living South Street Owston Ferry. This was a terraced house built in 1840. Living with her were three unmarried sons, Slingby, Jonathan, Richard and granddaughter Mary Lindley, daughte of Jarvis and Mary Lindley who were living at Goole Fields at the time.
