Help to set up an new group

In Kirklees:

Fieldworkers from Kirklees Federation of Tenants & Residents Associations (KFTRA) can give you independent advice and help to set up your Tenants & Residents Association. They have lots of experience of helping groups campaign for the things they want.

You can contact other Tenants & Residents Associations in your area through the Federation and maybe ask someone from your area to come to talk to you from the Federation's Management Committee. Other tenants association members started off just like you and know exactly what you are feeling. They can really help you out.

Neighbourhood Tenant Participation Officers are there to help you apply for a Support Grant from the council. They can give you advice about getting in touch with your Area Housing Office and having your say on Housing Management Committee.
