Order of Events

We have sketched out  what will happen where and when over the weekend  The details will be updated as we get nearer the wedding day -so do check again to be assured that  things haven't changed.

All the timings are approximate and are of course entirely dependent on the bride.

Please ask the the Best Man (Adrian) if you have any queries on the day. He will  be fully briefed and be happy to  provide assistance and advice.

Saturday  3rd March 2001
Evening : The Bride and  Groom will be holding 'separate' pre-wedding events at the Thatched Inn and Charlton House. (further details to be announced)

Sunday 4th March 2001
  • 11am
Guests helping the Bride and Groom to be at Charlton House  & Thatched Inn
  • 11.30 a.m -12.30 p.m.
Our photographer will be available to take pictures of guests in the Kilver Court (Mulberry) Gardens
  • 12.30 pm 2.00pm
Charlton House will be serving a light lunch-but it's not on the house I'm afraid.
Our exclusive use of Charlton House starts
  • 2.50pm
Guests to take their seats in the Dining Room for the Wedding Ceremony
  • 3.00pm
Bride's entrance (hopefully)
  • 3.05pm
Wedding Ceremony
  • 3.45pm
Welcome drinks and canapés to be served in the drawing room
Wedding Photographs - bring your confetti
  • 4.45pm
Guests to gather in Drawing Room for the speeches (delivered from the Bar area) 
  • 5pm
Receiving line in the hallway , Guests to be seated in Dining room, Music room and Conservatory
  • 5 -8.00pm
Wedding Breakfast and Toasts  followed by coffee & petit fours in the lounge.
Cutting of the cake. (to be served p.m.)
  • 8.30-11.30pm
Dancing to Cass Casswell's Jazz Band   (cake and nibbles to be served)
12 midnight Festivities draw to a close ?

Monday 5th March
  • 5.00 am
Morning Swim (only joking)
  • 8.00 - 10.00am
Breakfast
  • 11am
Guests check out, exclusive use ends
  • Afternoon
