McCollam's is also known locally as "Johnny Joes" or just affectionately as "Joe's", after its former owner Johnny Joe McCollam. The present proprieter is Mr. Joe Blaney who enthusiastically encourages the many musicians and singers who beat a track here every week. Johhny Joe's has four main rooms: the Bar, the Kitchen, the Parlour and the "Back Room" which is accessed via a covered yard. The building is very old and the internal decor has been kept in the old-fashioned style in sympathy with the structure - an excellent ambience for traditional music!
