Here are some tunes that are still work-in-progress - some have been in that state for a few years,
I'm not sure what genre my music is so I've given it the MP3 tag 'other' - I think it probably lies somewhere between
Experimental and Meditative.
Where there are lyrics it's best to ignore them, they're usually made up as I go along.
Also some tracks have nice bass (well I think so) which cheap little PC speakers just can not reproduce - even cheap headphones
will do a better job than cheap speakers
Finally a warning,... you may hear some singing in some of these files. If you really want to listen to them then I suggest the use of headphones just as a courtesy to anyone else that may overhear it.
Have You Ever Blown Bubbles.... - bubbles.mp3 (2.0M)
A slightly silly acoustic guitar track that ran out of lyrics - probably a good thing
Bits of Bass - fod.mp3 (0.5M)
A bit of a play with a bass line using a new 8 track.
Field of Dreams - fod.mp3 (2.4M)
Good all round start to a tune, but falls flat after about a minute. The lyrics are a little 'Paul Simon',
words that sound nice together but actually make no sense at all!
Plink - plink.mp3 (3.6M)
A sort of cross between Tuesday night bell ringing practice, an oriental Mike Oldfield and Tune a Day - bet you can't wait to hear it !
The Moon - themoon.mp3 (2.5M)
Haunting trumpets turn into chirpy little acoustic guitar track - and almost gets away with it
True Eyes - trueeyes.mp3 (0.4M)
Acappella, just to see how well it could work - it's short, very short
Back Again - backagain.mp3 (3.3M)
Slightly haunting trumpet with strings - has potential, but doesn't go anywhere.
