I needed somewhere to hang my headphones, a simple hook would do but where's the fun in that.
The 'peg' is made from glueing alternating 5mm layers of beech and walnut together then turning it,
introducing a slight dip in the middle for the headphones to rest.
The peg is very slightly pointed upwards to encourage the headphones to slide back rather than forward and off on to the floor
(which is where they lived until this was made).
The 'unique' feature is the hole in the middle of the peg. Too many times the jack plug has become lost in a tangle of wires on the floor - the hole provides a convenient place to store the plug so it's always to hand.
