Lacking a cat flap in the house, I needed a dry place for my cat to call home. From the day Cat adopted me, he has always liked the outdoor life (some say he had no choice) and been fed outside.

A quick and cheap first attempt. I had no desire to spend a fortune on a Cat House if Cat was going to adopt another home.
Everything was scrap wood, except the window. When I went to Engineering Design and Plastics in Cambridge to ask what they had,
they generously offered to give me the Perspex sheet free of charge - maybe they just wanted me to leave when I explained I'd like floor to
ceiling 'picture' window so my cat could watch the birds in the garden!
Cat seemed to be hanging around and the cat house was falling apart, so time for.....
