Introduction
The purpose of the
site isn't to prove that either global warming or
AGW (anthropegenic global warming) don't exist,
merely that contrary to mainstream media
presentation, there is considerable scepticism
both about the science itself and the process by
which it is transmitted from scientific papers
through the IPCC and the media to the public.
The dangers are
very likely exaggerated by vested interests. The
United States took part in the Kyoto negotiations
at the instigation of Enron and British Petroleum
following a meeting at the White House with Bill
Clinton and Al Gore who himself is a lifetime
representative of Occidental Oil. Kyoto was
signed by Vice President Gore despite
overwhelming political opposition. The senate
rejected ratification of the treaty 95-0.
The IPCC exists
not to determine whether AGW is happening but how
to respond to it. It is a branch of the United
Nations which told us that as many as 150 million
people could die of human to human transmitted
H5N1 bird flu. Another very eminent scientist
predicted 200 million. Not one single person
died. Sensationalism is the bread and butter of
the media, it's what they do. Media and
government support is being encouraged by the
finance industry that stands to make huge amounts
fom new investments and carbon trading (and its
subsequent derivatives market which is very
similar to the what caused the financial crash of
2008). Other notable mentions are that there will
be a million dead from CJD by 2016 according to
the Observer and that only 16,000 individualshave
died of AIDS in Britain despite apocalyptic
