Brogdale Horticultural Trust is a registered charity on a
former Ministry of Agriculture Station. It incorporates the National Fruit
Collections (over 2,300 varieties of apples, 500 of pears, 350 of plums, and 220
of cherries as well as currants, gooseberries, nuts, medlars, and quinces).
Guided walks are always available and a range of exhibitions and special events
are staged. Opens every day (weekends and bank holidays included) from Easter to
Christmas. 9:30 am to 5:00 pm.
