Black Hereford - A large white apple, Morris's Apple - "Never blights,"
"good for extra prime tipple" of medium size, high colour,
Chibble's Wilding - A sweet yellow and a very fair eating apple
apple with a long stalk, which gives in January
much briskness to cider Streaked or Royal Jersey - small
Granville - A small red apple, giving red
a high colour Darbin Red-strek
Hangdown - A small yellow apple Lurley Bitter-sweet
Kingston Black - This of itself makes Red Cluster
a thin cider; but a few only Sweet Reinette
communicate a high colour to other Pound - very large
ciders Cadbury - The cider quickly turns
Large Jersey - Good, but not a great black after drawing
