Bernard Wrigley - Phenomenal Bowton Bullfrog! Singer, songwriter, comedian and actor Bernard Wrigley has also been performing and making records since the 1970s. Bernard has written several songs which have been performed and sung by The Fivepenny Piece, including Molly Kershaw and Buggerlugs Loves Sugarbutty; and Bernard later joined The Fivepenny Piece for a period during the 1990s. Mike Harding - Mrs 'Ardin's Lancashire Lad! Singer, funny man, broadcaster, writer and rambler - there aren't many things Mike Harding hasn't had a go at in his long and successful career! His first album was issued in 1972 and he rapidly became nationally famous, appearing in sell-out tours all over the world and on many TV series - not least of which was the series he did with The Fivepenny Piece. George Formby - Lancashire Toreador and Window Cleaner! George Formby Jnr was and probably still is the world's best-known Lancashire singer/comedian - the world-famous ukulele player who appeared in dozens of films before, during and after the Second World War.
