Integrative Biology e-Science Project
SciWebUK has recently completed an award winning new project web site for researchers at Oxford University. The site has been developed for the Integrative Biology e-Science project. This e-science project is looking at both Cancer and Heart Disease using computers in new and exciting ways. Models of both disease types will be produced to help scientists to understand the processes that trigger the development of diseases in the first place.
SciWebUK has built the Integrative Biology web site using a CSS driven design and has incorporated accessibility techniques to make the site as user friendly as possible. The site went live in early September 2004 in time for the All Hands e-Science meeting. This web site won the bronze award in a contest to find the best UK e-Science web site at this prestigious conference.
