Mr. Wong Eng Chye 17th November 1917 - 2nd October 2000

A dear mother who will be remembered with loving affection and cherished forever and never to forget. She gave her best years to all her children, ensuring that they were well looked after and loved, never complaining, never tiring.

What Mum Was and And Will Always Be To Us.

Our mother was someone who brought us into this world;

who was more precious than the most precious pearl.

She was someone who would always be there;

someone who made us feel she was everywhere.

Someone who would care and cook exotic cakes & food for us;

who would ensure that good education was important to us.

Someone to whom we seldom thought of saying 'thank you';

who would without complaining or tiring look after you!

So mother, as we reflect on your love and care which you showered on us all,

We hope by this tribute, the world would know how much you meant to us all.

A Tribute to Our Loving Dad

Our dear father, whose love for all of us was demonstrated by his constant longing for us from near and afar to be home with him.He worked all his life so he could give us a treat no matter how self sufficient we were if only we gave him the opportunity and pleasure to do so.

Father, 'Thank you' for being a loving and caring dad

'Sorry too' for sometimes making you mad and sad

How hard you worked in order to provide for us all

Without you and mum, none of us would be successful at all

The memories of going to the pictures as a family on Saturday nights still linger on

Memories like eating Char How Fun at Foo Heong restaurant

And travelling in trishaws go on and on

Then the morning after, reluctant to wake up at six to help you as we'd promised

Losing your temper, you would declare that such a weekend treat would cease

However, as love of a loving father would always shine through

We knew your threat to stop such a treat would never come true

As each of us grew up, left school and home to go into the world on our own

Both you and mum, cared for by sister Veronica, longed for each of us to come home

Now that you have also departed, saddened though we may be,

We know that according to God's plan,

HOME WITH GOD is where our family will be.
