Free Flight is generally where the vast majority of us started in the aeromodelling hobby. Starting with the paper aeroplane and then moving onto building balsa kit models. Early experiences in this are no doubt pushing us towards the desire for some form of control over the model's flight pattern. Various trips to model exhibitions do however invariably attract a number of free flight enthusiasts and invariably they draw a large crowd to see if the modeller has had the required skills to make the model fly for a sustained period without crashing or flying off into the distance.Indoor free flight is for the winter months when the weather is quite unsuitable outdoors and there are a number of interesting possibilities for small inexpensive winter projects for indoor free flight models Check out the links
