Electric r/c Flight is becoming increasinly popular for a number of reasons. Firstly the demand for quieter models on certain flying sites and secondly the vast improvement in battery technology over the past few years brought on by the demand for smaller batteries with higher storage capacity for mobile phones etc.

Electric flight can be fairly expensive to get started in with motors, speed controllers, batteries and all the attendant chargers and equipment putting it on a par with regular power models.
