This is non - music. Noise as art or performance sound. One man a computer & a wealth of imagination.Split into 14 tracks, each exploring different textures a world of abstraction opens up to the listener, who can't sit through' this as background noise but is forced to pay attention as the mangled forms wend & weave their way in & out of yr mind. Sometimes almost unlistenable, sometimes strangely intoxicating. Imagine a sound track to a cross between Tron, Running Man & Hellraiser & you are part way there.The way some of the sounds are constructed gives the impression of pursuit, in one track, somebody whose feet are clothed in paper bags is chasing do an electrified corridor, static buzzing as you brush the edges. In others electronic insects seem to buzz in & out if the crackling ether, even the background is alive with distortion, crackle & even when a voice is employed (one word intoned) then stretched & twisted sinister noises emanate from the mic as feedback attacks the listener.By no stretch of the imagination is this an easy ride for the listener, but there is a lot of ideas and innovation in the finished product which may make you rethink the way that recorded sound figures in your life.
