RULES OF THE CLUB
Section 3 Subscriptions
3.1 Subscriptions and boat berth fees shall be at the rates in force at the time.
3.2 Subscriptions fall due on 1st January of each year
3.3 Subscriptions and boat berth fees be reduced a pro-rata fee equivalent to 1/12 of each month or part each month remains in that year.
3.4 Boat berth fees for Full Old Age Pensioners after two years continuous full membership shall be halved according to existing scales so laid down at a General Meeting.
3.5 Any member who has not paid his/her subscription and boat berth fees 30 days after it shall become due shall be considered in arrears and if it not paid within 28 days thereafter he/she cease to be a member. No member in arrears shall be permitted any club privileges.
3.6 The Committee shall have the power to extend this period in the event of illness or any reasonable cause warranting such extension
3.7 Members of Her Magesty's Forces who have been club members prior to being posted overseas may rejoin without paying a further entrance fee.
3.8 Should the annual Berth Fee due in respect of any boat berthed in the club compound not received by the club on or before the due date (see Rule 3.5) a charge of £2.00 per day will be made in respect of any such boat until the said Berth Fee be paid. Non Members are not permitted to use such a berth
3.9 Failure to pay Berthing Fees within three months of the date due will result in the disposal of the boat and trailer by the club to defray expences.
