Section 10 Secretary
10.1 The Secretary or in his/her absence the Assistant Secretary shall attend all General Meetings.
10.2 The Secretary shall record correctly the names of the Officers and Committee there present in the Attendance Book.
10.3 The Secretary shall record the minutes of the proceedings, which he/she shall transcribe to be authenticated by the signature of the chairman as the proceedings of the meeting.
10.4 The Secretary shall receive applications for admission to the club.
10.5 The Secretary shall forthwith hand over all monies received by him/her to the Treasurer (other than monies drawn from the bank as an Impress Account). He/she shall produce all books, documents, property and monies of the club in his/her possession and render a full and clear account at each audit and whenever required by a resolution of the club or Committee or by the Trustees. He/she shall also pay over all monies and give up all books, documents and property belonging to the club when ordered to do so by a resolution therof of the Committee or by the Trustees.
10.6 The Secretary shall summon and give notice of all meetings of the club in such manner and for such purpose as the Committee may appoint and shall prepare all returns and other documents required by the Committee.
10.7 The Secretary shall on occasions, in execution of his/her office act under the superintendence, control and direction of the Committee.
10.8 For his/her service, the Chairman, Hon Treasurer, Hon Secretary shall receive such honorariums, as the Committee shall determined.
